Meredith Pierce is a policy analyst in International Programs. Her work focuses on youth family planning, including policy analysis, policy implementation assessment, and empowering youth advocates. Before joining PRB in 2017, she spent five years at the United States Agency for International Development in the Office of HIV/AIDS and the Office of Population and Reproductive Health. She earned her Master of Public Health from The George Washington University and holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of California, Los Angeles.

The Research Council of Norway, a funding partner in the Population and Poverty Research Network (PopPov) for which PRB is the Secretariat, recently hosted a knowledge-sharing event at the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (Norad) in Oslo, Norway.
